The Wilshire-Metro WorkSource Center is a free job resource center for jobseekers, one of many full-service career centers located in almost every community throughout the L.A. County.
Free Services Available:
Computers – With free Internet access for employment related searches
Job Posting – New and hot job listings are posted from local business and agencies
Photocopier / Fax – Available for free employment related copies and faxes
Resource Materials – Newspapers, reference materials on resume development, cover letters and more
Workshops / Training – Various career preparation workshops and trainings in areas such as software applications, logistics, security, and more. View upcoming Workshops
Career Counseling – A number of services to the unemployed including career guidance and placement services
Onsite Partners – Employment Development Department (EDD), Veterans Services, and Department of Aging
Through our partnerships with several educational institutions, including Los Angeles Valley College, East Los Angeles College, and the East Los Angeles Occupational Center, as well as the Mid-Wilshire Campus for Los Angeles City College, we offer vocational training and on-site college classes free of charge to community residents.
