Low-Cost Education

LAUSD's Adult Occupational Schools offers a wide range of extremely low-cost training programs from computer classes to medical billing.   There are several schools throughout the city.  Please visit their website to find a school near you.

Tip:  Many of the classes are open enrollment/open exit.  Audit a class before registering.  Also, if you are low-income, ask for a fee waiver.

St. Joseph Center Culinary Training Program provides a 10 week training program.  Visit their website for more information.

Century Community Training Program provides free construction training and job placement services if you are accepted into the program.  Visit their website for more information. 

Los Angeles Pacific College provides free computerized accounting classes if you are receiving unemployment insurance and accepted into the program.  Visit their website for more information.
