PROGRAMS WE OFFER

ARE YOU A VETERAN OF THE ARMED FORCES?  CCD was recently awarded a grant from the state to help veterans find training and/or employment.  "These grants not only honor the service of our veterans, but they will also help provide a much-needed stimulus to the California economy," said Governor Schwarzenegger. "These brave women and men have volunteered to protect our freedom and way of life - and as they return to civilian life, we must help them find jobs that provide a sustainable wage as well as career advancement opportunities."  For more information, please contact Ron Zajac at 213-365-9829 ext. 230.

WERE YOU LAID OFF FROM A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION/MORTGAGE INDUSTRY?  If so, you may qualify for transition counseling, job leads, employment resources -- and there may be free training for a career change.  WorkSource California (WSC) was awarded a National Emergency Grant (NEG) in cooperation with the City of Los Angeles to assist individuals who have been laid off from an approved list of companies effective July 1, 2007.  For more information, please contact Rhonda Rose at (213) 365-9829 ext. 250.
