The Employment Development Department (EDD) is one of the largest state departments with employees at hundreds of service locations throughout the state. For more than 70 years, EDD has connected millions of job seekers and employers in an effort to build the economy of the Golden State.
Set on an attractive 49 acres, Los Angeles City College was the original location for UCLA before it moved to Westwood, CA. The college facilities include more than a dozen multistory classroom buildings including a library, computer labs, fitness centers, theatre, and TV/film studios. Through a $147 million bond award, the college is further enhancing itself with a new and advanced technology learning facility, increased parking, and expanded athletic/fitness and child development centers.
Los Angeles Valley College serves the community by providing transfer, degree, vocational, transitional, and continuing education programs in an attractive and accessible learning environment that fosters student success. Embedded in these programs are the greater goals of critical thinking and life-long learning which are necessary for success in the work place and for furthering one’s education and personal development.
